goodie and nick

Goodie & Nick are Lee Goode & Nick Foister, from Stourbridge & Newcastle respectively. They started working together when they met at Hafan Y Mor in North Wales (formerly Butlins Pwllheli) in 2001. Nick was employed there as Entertainments Manager and Goodie had already been there for 2 years as Resident Presenter.

Nick was asked to devise an adults-only late-night entertainment and, with Goodie, came up with "Adult Hour". This was an hour and a half of filthy gags interspersed with outrageous adult games and would become infamous, regularly packing out the Lakeside Bar with late-night revellers (mostly staff!) One tape of an adult hour performance does exist, but it is safely locked away in a lead box where it can offend no-one.

This went so well that Goodie & Nick decided to form a full-time comedy duo. They had both been planning to leave Haven holidays (the company had recently been sold and the new owners had dramatically slashed spending on entertainment) but instead returned to North Wales in 2002 to do one final resident season. This year was a great success, and very useful to Lee & Nick as they used the time to develop enough material to go on the road full-time in 2003.

Securing some holiday park bookings by locking Haven's main agent in an office until he agreed, Goodie & Nick were ready to go self-contained, self-employed and self-sufficient (but not like 'the good life')

Since then Goodie & Nick have peformed over 1000 shows to over 200,000 people. They've just finished Panto in Billingham and are really excited about 2008 as they have 2 great new routines for their show - The Celebrity Song and The Choirboy routine - They hope to see you soon.
